What is Backyard Blitz?
Backyard Blitz is our major annual community event and a crowd favorite. Yellowstone Group partners with Servus Group Vermont to completely transform a home and backyard for a family in need.
Both teams come together for an incredible day of volunteering, working hand in hand to create a transformative and rewarding experience for everyone involved — from the volunteers to the families whose lives are changed.
It's more than just landscaping. It's about giving back, building community, and showing that when people come together, amazing things happen.
How It Works
From nomination to transformation — here's how Backyard Blitz comes together.
Nomination
Someone nominates a deserving family or organisation who would benefit from a garden makeover.
Selection
Our team reviews nominations and selects a recipient based on need and impact.
Planning
We design the transformation and coordinate volunteers, materials, and logistics.
Blitz Day
Our crew comes together for one incredible day to completely transform the space.
